"I want to thank you both for your time, support, guidance and the courses that we completed. If ever there was an organisation that helped me through a tough time it was Safer Lives and I wouldn't have been able to get through it without you. So huge thanks!"

"I feel I have a much better understanding of my behaviour, how I got to the point and how I can put things right for me and my family."

"I had been in something of a denial, then the Police found images on my mobile. StopItNow told me about Safer Lives and within a few days I was on their programme. They gave me reassurance and hope that I could survive the court system, and they supported me through the hearings. Without their help, I might not have turned up."

"The Police Officer told me a caution was possible. He pointed at the Safer Lives leaflet in the pack I was given. He looked me in the face and simply said “call these guys”. It was the best advice I have taken."

"Making a call to Safer Lives after my arrest was the best decision I have ever made and undoubtedly steered me away from isolation and the darker places this kind of event can take us."

"Safer Lives provided calm and measured advice at a time where I struggled to find clarity from other sources. It has been very useful in helping me to understand myself and the next steps."

"Although I was already in therapy, the counselling didn't help. I just kept asking, Am I going to prison? These guys straightened my head out and helped me understand the system I was in and how it could go. Their hunch was right. I got NFA but I also knew by then that I could cope with what ever was coming."

"Engaging with Safer Lives was the best option for me. I soon started to explore elements of my life growing up which may explain why I had ended up in the situation I have.  Safer Lives gave me both the determination and the emotional support to change"
