Diversionary & Conditional Cautions

Safer Lives have worked with a number of clients as a condition on their conditional cautions. We anticipate that these will become known as Diversionary Cautions, and that lower level online sexual offences are likely to be in scope  of these. Safer Lives takes a two-tier approach to providing rehabilitative conditions:

Tier 1 condition - two hour intervention to improve understanding of behaviour, relapse prevention planning and signposting to other resources and services if relevant. (£250 to be paid through 16 week period)

Tier 2 condition - four hour intervention to better understand emotional triggers and wider influences on behaviours, and tightening of online behaviours,  relapse prevention and signposting to other resources and services if relevant. (£500 to be paid through 16 week period)

For clients who have completed a structured programme with Safer Lives or the Lucy Faithfull Foundation, the Tier 1 condition would normally apply

All conditions are fulfilled using one-to-one appointments, never in groups.
