Post Sentence
Programme
For clients wanting to work on their rehabilitation after they have been sentenced, we offer our Post-Sentence Safer Lives Programme.
The programme recognises the traumas caused by the arrest, investigation and prosecution. It then assesses current needs and risks, and matches these to a rehabilitative plan that is designed around the ‘Good Lives Model’ of offender rehabilitation. This individualised approach, using one-to-one appointments, helps to ensure a personalised and responsive approach.
At the discretion of the Probation Service, the appointments can be used as part of a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Ten session programme
For clients who have not already completed a programme of work with Safer Lives the post-sentence programme is run over ten monthly one-to-one appointments.
